Information on processing personal data and your rights.
This privacy policy explains how we process personal data in connection with our services.
Our services are subject to Swiss data protection law. We process personal data in accordance with Swiss law, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). The EU recognises that Swiss data protection law provides an adequate level of protection.
1.1 Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person whose personal data is processed. Processing means any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and procedures, in particular retention, disclosure, collection, deletion, storage, alteration, destruction and use of personal data.
1.2 We process the personal data required to provide our offering effectively and user-friendly, as well as permanently, securely and reliably.
1.3 As a rule, we only process personal data with the consent of the data subject, unless processing is permitted for other reasons, for example to fulfil a contract, for corresponding pre-contractual measures or to safeguard our overriding interests. In this context we process in particular information that a data subject sends voluntarily when contacting us.
1.4 We process personal data for as long as the respective purpose requires. Where longer retention obligations apply, we restrict processing accordingly.
1.5 We may have personal data processed by third parties — also abroad. Such processors process personal data on our behalf. We ensure that such third parties guarantee adequate data protection.
1.6 We are present on social media platforms and other online platforms. The respective terms, privacy policies and other provisions of the operators apply.
2.1 For each visit to our website we collect the following data and store it in log files: date and time including time zone, IP address, access status (HTTP status code), operating system including version, browser including language and version, page requested, amount of data transferred and referrer.
2.2 We use cookies on our website, including third-party cookies. Cookies help us recognise your browser and provide our offering in a user-friendly, secure and reliable way. You can deactivate or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Without cookies, our offering may not be fully available.
3.1 We take appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data and ensure data security.
3.2 Access to our offering is transmitted using HTTPS (TLS).
3.3 Despite appropriate measures, processing personal data on the internet may involve security risks. We cannot guarantee absolute data security.
3.4 Internet use may be subject to monitoring by security authorities in Switzerland, the EU, the USA and other countries. We have no direct influence over such processing.
4.1 We may send notifications and newsletters by e-mail and other channels. Where sending is not required to fulfil a contract, it will only take place with explicit consent (double opt-in).
4.2 Notifications and newsletters may contain tracking pixels or tracking links to measure opens and clicks statistically. We use this data to measure reach and improve our communication.
4.3 You can unsubscribe from notifications and newsletters at any time.
5.1 We use third-party services — also abroad, including the USA — to provide our offering in a user-friendly, secure and reliable way. Such services may require your IP address, among other things.
5.2 We use Google Fonts, 5.3 Google Maps and 5.4 YouTube (services of Google LLC). We also use 5.5 reCAPTCHA for bot protection. Google’s privacy policies apply:
